Refurbishment

It may be necessary to seal previously sealed floors. Floors that are maintained using a cleaning system should be sanded to provide a key and remove scratch marks prior to application of a Floor Seal. This will ensure the floor is kept looking pristine at all times. Where information is not available on timber species or on maintenance products used for the floor, it is strongly recommended that a trial application is made on a small area to test the adhesion of the Floor Seal. Prior to application an area of the floor should be sanded, cleaned and a coat of Floor Seal applied. After several days the adhesion should be checked by gently scratching the surface using the milled edge of a coin.
